After trying other barbershops in DC, I've finally found the barbershop for me after only two visits. I came in for a standard haircut ($35), but I felt that I got more than the standard cut and service. My barber took time to understand what I wanted, made some suggestions, and executed. I can see as he was cutting that it was already looking nice. I'm not used to such good attention being given by a barber. I'd never walked out of a shop feeling as good about myself after a fresh cut because I know it does look good. I almost never leave Google reviews, but felt compelled to voice my unwavering support for the fine folks at Habib's.A few weeks ago, I made the mistake of visiting another barber shop, where the barber simply butchered my neckline. (It was honestly unbelievable; a major chunk was missing.) With nowhere else to turn, I ran to Habib's--for the first time, mind you--and asked if they could help. Without missing a beat, Youssef immediately got to work salvaging what he could. Working nothing short of a miracle, he was able to transform a disaster into a great haircut.
