I am very pleased with braiding shop, I am a regular customer and have not been disappointed yet. Their pricing is reasonable, they only take walk-ins which is convenient, and the service is quick and good!
Went for the first time yesterday with my mom (she frequents this salon). Was advised to arrive at 7am because it’s first come first served. My mom walked in and immediately got her hair started. It took about 30 minutes for my hair to get started. Overall, I had a good experience. It took 4.5 hours to get medium sized braids. I’m tender headed and while I was in pain, it wasn’t too much. Tatyana did my hair and she tried her best to be gentle. My hair is on the shorter side cause I big chopped about a year ago, she still managed to grip my hair just fine. The braiders here do great work, especially with natural hair. Both of the times I went to Gisele’s, they advertised that they open at 7am, however the shop was empty. By the time the workers arrived and were prepared to start my hair, I had waited over 30 minutes and not offered a discount as a result of the inconvenience. In addition, I highly suggest you bring ear plugs and or headphones, because the staff create a very loud and unprofessional environment. Overall the goal was to get my hair done, and both times I was pleased with the work..
