Doug is an extremely talented artist. He picked a great location for my family portrait and they turned out beautifully despite multiple toddler mishaps. He’s not pushy and gives just the right amount of direction. I love how he can capture simple candid interactions and make them look like they could be in a magazine. Most photographers I’ve hired only send the posed photos, but Doug likes to capture the moment - constantly looking for good shots even when no one is paying attention - and he has a great eye for lighting and background. I actually didn’t feel great after the session, but when the photos came back I was beyond satisfied.
Doug took photos of our son’s preprom party. He is friendly and flexible and easy to work with. He was all over the spaces capturing wonderful candids and expressions on the kids’ faces. He was receptive to suggestions and captured beautiful images for us. Everyone was pleased with the final results!
We recently worked with Doug to do a newborn shoot for our 1 week old baby. Doug answered our inquiry quickly (within a few hours) and we were able to get a the session scheduled 2 days later.
During the shoot Doug gave us direction but also made sure to capture the candid moments with my family which turned into beautiful pictures. Doug delivered the final photos with a less than 72 hr turn around which was also greatly appreciated.
We are so happy we found Doug and got this special moment to keep forever!
