I’ve been coming to DVNY for over 4 years and will keep coming as long as I have pets. My 11 year old dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Jade, one of the techs, was incredibly patient in explaining to me how to give my dog her insulin shots. I asked so many questions and repeated the steps back to her, at least 3 times. Each time Jade listened and corrected me if I got something wrong or reminded me of a trick she’d shown me not 5 minutes earlier but had already forgotten. It’s this kind of care that keeps me coming back and why I tell all my friends to go to District Vet
I cannot recommend District Vet Navy Yard enough! Dr. Warshawsky and Dr. London are both phenomenal veterinarians who truly excel at what they do. They’re incredibly personable and so gentle with my cats — my smaller one was pretty sick and was actually purring during his exam with Dr. London.
When my little cat needed a diagnosis, both doctors approached it with the perfect balance of urgency and thoughtfulness. I don't usually take time out to write reviews, but after the wonderful care District Vet showed to my dog, I had to do it. My dog was experiencing unspecified pain in his knee and neck, and I grew concerned as he whimpered and wasn't his good old self. I was able to schedule a visit immediately using their user-friendly online portal. The vets there were kind and highly experienced, and administered the right medication for my dog. It has been a few days, and he is back to full energy and playing like he used to. I am so grateful to have this hospital near me, and I would highly recommend using their services!
