So, when my crown broke off, I was devastated and terrified. I didn't even have time to read reviews and chose Dr. Shukoor based on location alone, fully expecting to regret it. I was doomed. In my experience, dentists have ranged from slimy salesmen to cold, clinical robots. I had little hope I'd ever meet one I actually liked. Enter Dr. Shukoor--who I now wish I could clone and assign to every medical need I'll ever have. When I arrived, the office was busy, but Dr. Shukoor was smiling, welcoming, and--dare I say--fun. His laid-back, approachable personality immediately put me at ease. Then I found out he was a military dentist, and I knew I was in excellent hands. I've worked alongside military medical professionals for the past eight years, and that kind of training and discipline shows. Unfortunately, my situation required an extraction and bone graft. As someone who is, without question, a full-on dental drama queen, this news was soul-crushing. But somehow, Dr. Shukoor and his staff made the entire experience smooth and shockingly painless. I mean zero pain. Honestly? I've had hygiene appointments that were worse. This was cake. Beyond Dr. Shukoor's skill, his entire team was wonderful, kind, diverse, knowledgeable, and professional. Making appointments and communicating was simple. I appreciated the option to use text when communicating. This allowed me to communicate with his staff at work between my patients. It's 2025, every office should have this capability. No one under 45 is making phone calls. The office itself was clean, comfortable, and even had good music playing during the procedure. Let me tell you, there's nothing like vibing to a good playlist after popping a little calming pill. Five stars isn't enough. Go see him--you'll thank yourself later.
100/10 I would recommend Dr. Shukoor to everyone! I've had multiple surgeries here (both complicated cases) and I am *amazed* at my lack of pain during/after. The quality of care is outstanding and every person who works here is incredibly kind. I feel instantly at ease when I walk through the door. Dr. Shukoor takes the time to explain everything in detail and I can tell he cares so much for his patients. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!
