Have been suffering with Bell's palsy for nearly 7 years on the right side of my face. I developed the condition as a result of pregnancy. Dr. Jin has been very helpful in treating my long-standing Bell's palsy. I started seeing her in May 2024. As a result of Dr. Jin's treatment, there are parts of my face that I haven't felt in seven years that are now tingling and have movement. She's very attentive and tailors each session keeping in mind my feedback and symptoms of that week. I appreciate her attention to my condition and concerns of that week. She also has a great sense of humor! Her DC office is conveniently located in the national press building. It's clean and bright, and as others have mentioned it's no-frills. But I'm here for acupuncture and therapy, not a spa visit. Best part is that she takes my insurance!

This is no longer the location, she now practices at 529 14th street NW.
I went to my first appointment and my chronic low back pain went from an 8/10 to a 2/10 in one appointment. I’ve done plenty of massages in the past without half this success. Very thankful for having discovered this treatment.

I'm a new-ish patient of Chinese Acupuncture & Herb Center (the DC office location) and have had a positive experience. The office is admittedly small and no-frills (two beds with privacy curtains, separated by a wall/divider), which means you might sometimes overhear other patients' conversations if you happen to have an appointment at the same time as someone else (when this happens, I just politely ignore). However, the acupuncture treatment itself is very effective. Dr. Jie Jin is kind, attentive, and thoughtfully tailors treatment (acupuncture and/or herbal supplements) each time I visit, based on any variation in my symptoms / what is going on with me in a given week. I've been seeing Dr. Jin for the past few months and have seen significant improvement in my symptoms. Payment and billing are also very straightforward, and Dr. Jin takes care of the paperwork/process of submitting to my insurance. I often see familiar faces / other repeat clients arrive at the office before or after my appointments, which I think speaks to the effectiveness of Dr. Jin's treatments.
