I’ve had clothes altered by Georgetown Valet on two separate occasions, and both times they delivered in less than 24 hours (per my request). On the first occasion, I needed a hem and the waist taken in. On the second, I needed the pants hemmed, significantly tapered, and the sleeves hemmed and they still turned it around incredibly fast. The woman who does the alterations is extremely kind, polite, and helpful. She really knows her craft. The team also had great communication and made sure to call me as soon as my items were ready so I could pick them up ASAP. Fast, reliable, and friendly service. I highly recommend them!
I’ve gotten clothes cleaned here for a few years and they’re always done fast, with great quality and at a reasonable price.
Last week I brought in a flannel that had really brittle buttons and I wanted to have them replaced. At $3 a button, I decided to have them do just the buttons down the center of the shirt (to save myself $12 on the pockets and sleeves).
I wore the shirt for the first time today and noticed that they replaced all the buttons and didn’t charge me for the extra 4. It’s a little thing, but representative of the care and generosity they put into their work every time.
Georgetown Valet saved the day for me and my family in late December. We had a family wedding two hours from DC, and a crisis. Family from overseas arrived two days before the wedding and needed to dry clean wedding attire and have a new pair of dress pants altered. We only had 24 hours. Several dry cleaners in Bethesda and DC said they could not help us in 24 hours, but Georgetown Valet was wonderful. They were willing to help us in 24 hours and did a fabulous job!
