We had a very smooth check-in experience. My wife and I were traveling with two teenagers, and although our originally requested room with two queen beds was unavailable, Mary at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to accommodate us by providing a complimentary additional room, ensuring the kids had a comfortable place to sleep. She was also exceptionally kind and took the time to explain everything clearly. The rooms are on the smaller side but thoughtfully designed and well-appointed. One note for travelers: the showers feature frosted glass and offer limited privacy, which may be a consideration if you're sharing a room with someone you're not entirely comfortable with. We dined at Clay and Fire, where the coffee was outstanding and the breakfast delicious--though slightly on the pricey side. The service, however, was excellent. Overall, this is a great hotel in a fantastic location. We would definitely stay here again.
Very pretty upscale hotel that has been renovated. The ambiance is very nice with cute areas to take pictures. There was a wedding at the time of our visit that was picturesque. In the heart of DC with great views. The staff are attentive and you feel secure.
** brunch review ** We attended a wedding brunch here in the top floor. It was a great, large space for people to mingle and for kids to run around. There are huge windows. I was impressed by the tastiness of the food and how the team kept replenishing the buffet. The team did a great job clearing tables, too. The OJ was fresh. I've never seen so many berries in my life. The food options were great!
