Blackbird Salon is hands down one of the best salons in Washington, D.C. Justine and Devin have created such a beautiful space and an incredible community of hair artists and stylists who are clearly supported, mentored, and trained with so much care. Everyone at Blackbird is extremely talented, and the energy the moment you walk in feels fun, creative, welcoming, and inspiring.

I have been going to Blackbird for about a year and can confidently say that this place is top-notch. Devin has done an amazing job helping me grow out some old color and blend in a newer, more natural look. She's also exceptionally warm and attentive. I've had haircuts with both Bianca and Eunice, who were both stellar. Ana, one of the shampoo assistants, gives dreamy head massages. Finally, Blackbird's welcoming space (stocked with snacks, beverages, and a little free library!) is the cherry on top--it really feels like a cozy place where you can relax and recharge.
