I have been getting my haircut and color done at Aurora for about 3 years now. Both Liana and Jen are amazing at what they do. I have short hair and it’s not always easy to find a hairstylist who’s good at cutting short hair.

I’m a black woman with 3C hair texture. I was so happy they fit me in on the weekend but not certain that there are stylists who are seasoned in styling black hair textures. My stylist was an absolute sweetheart and took lots of care in straightening my hair post blowout. I recommend her for sure. But all in all it took about 2 hours. It’s a pretty salon with a nice mellow vibe and comfy shampoo chairs. I want to return but also recommend that they have stylists who are comfortable working with black hair textures and who know the proper techniques for blowing it out.

I have been coming to Aurora for monthly root touch ups and semi-annual balayage & hair cuts for a couple of years. Jen is a super talented colorist and an amazing business owner! The whole staff is always very friendly and you can tell everyone loves what they do.
