Great local spot for a cut! My Seoul brother Kevin took care of me when I walked in. He was very patient and skilled. Each station is clean and well equipped and they have a couple booths as well as a play area for kids.It's a great value, Id recommend it to anyone looking for a cut at an affordable price.

I've lived in the district for almost 5 years now, I've had haircuts at many places in DC that were far more expensive than 1st Street haircut that just were not up to par. This place gives you a fair price for the best haircut you will have in the city. I've had $80 haircuts that I hated. This place is much more reasonably priced and the haircuts are better.

Haircut was on 7/22/23, price for men’s was $30 before tipping. Haircut was good enough to look presentable but it wasn’t what I was thinking. Do keep in mind, I have longer hair for a dude. I’d rate it a 3.5.My barber’s English was okay, but not fully conversational. He got the basic instructions I asked for when I used the appropriate lingo (ex. give me face framing layers), but thinned my hair without asking me, which is a red flag of mine. He was a very kind guy though and did the job well and quickly. I would be willing to give this place another shot if it had a lower price tag and more accurate service to what I wanted, but it wasn’t a bad haircut by...read full review
