Edited to add: At the time of service, the vet provided me a DETAILED but hand written post it note with a price of $530. At no time did she ever tell me it was a “ball park estimate.” It was itemized by service, medication, etc. Since it was a Friday at 11pm office staff were not there to give a real invoice and take payment so I accepted her hand written bill and had to write my credit card info on a piece of paper for them to process when staff was in. The following week I got an email invoice saying they processed my payment for $632. They created additional BOGUS charges and took it upon themselves to charge me over $100 more than the price I was given. When I asked them about this they told me I was given an estimate by the vet. I didn’t have the post it note because I never expected it to be an issue. WARNING to anyone else: make sure you take that post it note! You need it to dispute with your CC company when they decide to increase the already inflated charges!!!! For that reason I’ll never return.
Original 5 star review: This place is 15 minutes away from me and I never knew it existed until I had an emergency with a baby goat last night. They were fast to call me and told me to come right in. Dr. Berger did a wonderful job, was extremely nice and professional, and made sure I was clear with all home instructions. Being a brand new goat owner, she took the extra time to demonstrate how to administer injectable medications to my goat. It is expensive like any emergency vet service would be, however I did expect a higher bill than what it was so I found it to be very reasonable.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Shantelle. The vets I’ve seen have been wonderful but the office staff unprofessional, unreasonable and combative. Very big miscommunications from their end they do not stand behind or apologize for mistakes- which you are still charged several hundred dollars for! Very disappointing

So so thankful for these people!! I had called SO many vets begging someone to look at my potbelly pig as she was clearly uncomfortable and in pain. All the other vets said they wouldn’t examine her but they would euthanize her. Finally, I came across tufts, which is over an hour away from me, and they were immediately willing to help. I took my pig in later that day and they were so beyond kind to her. They let me know she has arthritis and gave me a prescription and recommendations to make her more comfortable at home. If it weren’t for Tufts my girl would still be in pain and I would be considering euthanizing her so she didn’t suffer even though it was something that just needed some medication. Even though this location is over an hour away, I will happily be taking her here from now on for any of her needs. Thank you for taking such good care of my girl.

Services have changed - the vets/staff are generally miserable, prices have hiked, they are greedy (and dramatic about what you need, not that we don't all know that about TUFTS)
Moving away from this service who apparently is only catering to larger farms (who of course they will cater to because the profit is there.)
If you have a smaller farm, save yourself the headache and go elsewhere to someone who cares about the client and individual animals

Absolutely the best place to call if you have livestock. I cannot recommend them better. Satisfied customer for years.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Wilkinson for chiropractic and dentistry. She is truly wonderful with the horses and great at what she does.

If I could give zero stars I would. They failed at their purpose of saving my animal. I called for an emergency with my cow who was down in the pasture and in bad shape. The woman who answered the phone was rude and unsympathetic. She told me they would not come out because of a booked schedule, even though the situation was an emergency. I was told to find another vet. We ended up losing the cow who is regularly seen by this service for her regular care. I called here first but was turned away as I was at the other 19 vet clinics that I called, because apparently a sick and drying cow and calf were not important enough to save. Only one clinic was coming but certainly not tufts. I would not trust this clinic with your animals life. If you have an emergency I would call another vet because they don't care about your animal that is in pain.

We had an emergency where our goat Dolly needed a C section, Dr Adam Ward got in contact with me immediately and met as at the clinic, he performed a c section that saved our goats life, the goats baby even survived the c section, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and we are forever grateful!
