A wonderful and relaxing atmosphere! My massage with Lori was perfect. She used many different tools and techniques to help release my tension, all while keeping it soothing and peaceful. She is extremely knowledgeable and a great person :)

I had my first massage today at Soothing Elements with Carolyn. Their business is a quiet, lovely soothing place. It was so easy to book online. And Carolyn gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I had a wonderful massage with Hillary. I have received other massages in the past but none have been as good as Hillary’s. I am experiencing lower and upper back pain and Hillary listened to me about my problem areas and targeted specific muscle locations for pain relief. I’ve never had a massage therapist who was able to identify and pin point the exact location of my pain. I definitely recommend Hillary and Soothing Elements to anyone who may be experiencing chronic back pain and discomfort.

Soothing Elements opened its doors over 15 years ago, with owner Laurie Swenson's goal in mind of providing clients with the best customized relaxing and healing massage experience. The business has since grown, and recently moved to a new beautiful setting nestled in the quiet corner of Woodstock, Connecticut. The space exudes tranquility and boasts two peaceful treatment rooms. Laurie and her exceptional and experienced staff of massage therapists are able to offer everything from relaxation massage to the treatment and rehabilitation of injuries, specializing in orthopedic massage and pain management.
