My 6 1/2 year old daughter has been taking violin lessons at WMS with David Creswell for a year now. David has an impressive experience as a musician, and he is also an amazing teacher. He makes the lessons fun and engaging, playing along with my daughter, and helping her develop a love of violin. She has made unbelievable progress and what is even more important - she loves playing her violin! In addition, WMS has recitals twice a year where everyone is welcome to participate. My then-8-year-old started cello lessons in person, pre-pandemic. Had a great experience with Peter Prosser who is clearly an experienced teacher who has a great manner with children. WMS did a valiant effort at continuing lessons virtually, and we even had some virtual master classes and recitals with a chance for everyone to perform. Would definitely recommend.
