John is passionate about his craft, meticulous and committed to excellence. He took a family heirloom piece, a Korean secretary with brass and pearwood inlays, that had "a lot of miles on it" and restored it to better-than-original condition. It is a well made item, but is important to me more for the family history. John understood that and acted accordingly. I almost cried when he returned it to me. It is so difficult to find craftsmen that care about what they do that, when you do discover someone, you want to share the news. I cannot more strongly recommend John Edward Clark to care for your valued furniture. Stay well, John.
John beautifully restored our bedroom furniture that my great grandfather had built many years ago which had a lot of wear and tear. John brought it back to life and truly maintained its original beauty. His artistic hand and attention to detail exceeded our expectations.
