The shop has a relaxed atmosphere without any trying to sell all the services or products. The entire team, including the owner, are attentive, open, and friendly. They give clients exactly what they ask for and don't try to convince them to do all other things. The place is really cool looking and very clean. Jordan, in particular, was fantastic and gave good suggestions. She also worked quickly and efficiently, which was appreciated with a young son.
My son Zach (then in middle school) and I started getting our haircuts with Joe (the founder) and Rebecca when the shop first opened in West Hartford Center many years ago. After Joe sadly passed away, our son shifted to Alberto (Joe's son in law) for his haircuts. After Rebecca moved to Tennessee, I shifted to Mariah for my mine. When the shop relocated to Newington, we moved along with Alberto and Mariah to the new location. Zach went to college at the Univ. of MD and now resides in Baltimore. He has continued to see Alberto for all his haircuts. I continue to see Mariah for all of mine. We are as big a pair of fans as The Final Cut has ever had. The haircuts are excellent, the conversation is great, and the sports on TV and memorabilia throughout the shop make this a place to receive exceptional hairstyling service with a fantastic atmosphere. If you are a regular customer, I'll bet you agree. If you aren't yet a customer, give them a try. I think you will love the results!
