It took me a while to write this review because I was genuinely shocked by my experience. Even writing this now brings tears to my eyes. I paid almost $300 (and still tipped), and I left feeling embarrassed and devastated. I came in for a hair treatment and a trim. She did ask me if I wanted to “cut off all my ends,” but I did not understand that to mean cutting off most of my hair. There was no clear conversation about how much would be taken off, no length shown to me, and no agreement on an actual amount before she started cutting. My hair had finally reached my back, and I expected a trim—not a major cut. If my hair was uneven, I would have welcomed a gradual plan over time. Instead, she began cutting without clearly confirming the length, and in the end, my hair still wasn’t even. During the wash, she repeatedly scraped my scalp and edges with a comb. It was painful and unnecessary—I don’t use heavy product or slick my edges down. Since that appointment, I now have three bald spots along my edges that still haven’t grown back. I honestly wish I had stopped the service during the wash and only paid for that portion. There was another customer watching the entire process. When my hair was blown out, my hair looked long and healthy—but then most of it was cut off. I’m sharing this so others can make an informed decision before booking.
