Never use Lowes or East Coast Flooring for a carpet installation!! I should have listened to reviews and used a local flooring company instead but figured I would give Lowe's a chance as I've been a loyal customer for years.
Carpet was installed incorrectly and started coming up the next day, plus they installed a cheaper padding rather than what I paid for! Gilford Lowe's and installation support has horrible customer service, and keeps sending the installer back to my house without the materials to fix the issue. It has been a month now and we had to delay our move because the carpet still isn't installed correctly. They are refusing a refund or compensation and customer service literally recommended I pursue a credit card chargeback rather than helping or getting a manager to assist. Please do yourself a favor and use any other carpet installation company!!

While other reviewers had great experiences, we did not. It took is over a month (and this was after the ordered carpet had arrived at Lowes) with several install dates to get our job of two rooms and stairs carpeted. This was a job which we were originally told would take one day. The problems started right away when two installers came out to do the work and after a couple of hours told us that there was not enough carpet and left. More carpet was ordered and charged to us. We refused to pay for it because East Coast made the measuring mistake and Lowe's removed the charge. Multiple attempts to contact the company for a new install date, waiting for someone to show up (twice) on dates we were assigned but the dates never got entered onto their master schedule, installers showing up without the proper equipment, or scheduling our job at 1PM in the afternoon when there was no way one installer could possibly complete the job. After the final visit, we were left with buckling carpet (for which the installer told us would eventually settle) and a seam that opened up. Fortunately, Lowe's helped us out by having the (one-week old) issues fixed under warranty. Lowes is a great store, but the service installer, East Coast, is a company that we would never recommend.

This past summer I had waterproof vinyl plank flooring and new stair carpeting installed in my basement family room. I chose Lowe's in Leominster because they use East Coast Flooring for the installation work. East Coast Flooring had high marks for their installation work from the staff at Lowe's in Leominster and had great reviews as well. The stair carpeting install was well done by the great team of Diego and Luis. The vinyl plank flooring install was done by another team and had a couple of unexpected issues. When I received a text from the President of East Coast Flooring, John Searles, thanking me for my business, I reached out to John about the issues with the install and he immediately put me in touch with his Vice President, Dan Bush. Dan got right on it and sent really great teams to take care of these issues. I am very pleased with the final result of the vinyl plank flooring and stair carpeting installs. If you need flooring or carpeting installed in your home, I highly recommend East Coast Flooring, they have excellent teams doing this work and they guarantee your satisfaction with each install.

Poor install quality, then when they need to come back to fix their install mistakes they don't show up. I would not recommend them to my enemies.
