Best salon in Litchfield county - Scott and Danielle have a great shop filled with very able colorists hairdressers and esthetician's for women and men. The shop sells many beautiful one of a kind items from Morocco and more, all surrounded by unique art pieces also available for sale. The staff at Byrde and theB are very accommodating to their clients needs and all done with a smile.
I travel over 3hrs each way to see Lucy. She’s my hair Goddess/ Wizard/ Magician. I’m blonde and crazy picky about every aspect of my hair. And with Lucy, I literally walk in and say “do your thing”. She’s the maestro and I’ve never had anything less than stellar results. Also, the spa, the owner (hey hey Scott!), and the vibe of this place is totally on point. The salon is filled with amazing art and beautiful things to purchase, with lots of stunning jewelry from Marrakech, Morocco, where the owner has an equally chic Riad for rent. Recently moved to Connecticut and wanted to chop off a significant chunk of hair (7-8 inches) - I wanted a low-maintenance (I don't own a blowdryer) style that still had some STYLE. I really enjoyed my experience at Byrde + the b - collarbone-length style looks great and was $110, very reasonable in my opinion for a good women's haircut. The stylist was friendly, quick, and offered to wear a mask if I preferred. She washed and styled my hair too! The salon is super cute and everyone was very nice.
