The travel time to Tolland is worth it, compared to being charged an arm and leg and then pressured to over-vaccinate, etc, at other vets. Special props to Lisa, my family friend, and Chelsea for being awesome techs! No wonder you got a rock on your finger Chelsea ?“

“As always, the staff was pleasant and professional. I was taking a back by the cost. I could’ve saved some money if I had only asked for a technician instead of a vet to administer the shot, but I was not informed of this when I phoned in for the appointment, I think the staff should inform the people of this when they’re making the appointment. It’ll save a lot of money.“

I have been taking my pets here for about 15 years now. I don't see myself ever going anywhere else.
They are friendly, gentle with your pets, and honest. They don't just suggest you have things done to your pets so they make money.
They lay out your options and the cost of each and let you decide pressure free, and they answer all your questions.

“Best vet for exotics ever. The Dr took amazing care of out hamster, that at just 1 year old developed a fast growing tumor. She saw that we were teaching elementary school kids about responsible pet ownership. She valued that and removed the tumor. (The hamster lived til 2.5 which is respectable, lol) We have been back to her for other exotics and she so is wonderful. She gives all the options and respects the owners opinions. I am so grateful for this office and vet. This office is the best !“

“I came here to have my dog spayed (it was free through the rescue I got her from). They were incredibly friendly and professional. I had called a couple times before the appointment to ensure she could still have the procedure even though she had been prescribed some meds from a different vet. The woman on the phone took the time to speak with vet and confirm it was all fine. They treated my girl nicely and she was back on her feet the next day!“

“Our fur baby Simba was seen 2x over the weekend at Bolton. Unfortunately, while Simba had to cross the Rainbow Bridge, all the staff at Bolton Veterinary Hospital were so very kind, caring, and compassionate. The first evening, Dr. Badeau was so kind with Simba and so caring with us about why he thought was going on. He was able to provide us with the care that we and our little man needed. On the second evening, as Simba declined further, we had Dr. Kopec. She was so kind and caring as she was giving us the options left for him. When we made the extremely difficult decision to let Simba go, Dr. Kopec walked us through each part of the process. We were able to hold him as he passed over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Kopec’s demeanor through the entire process was that out of the utmost respect for our baby ❤️ Thank you, Bolton Veterinary Hospital, for allowing us to say goodbye to Simba in the way we needed to! ❤️“
