Owner Steve came out for an estimate promptly and addressed all of our concerns regarding the dead massive oak and hickory tree limbs including two dead standing trees plus various trimming over driveway on our property.
His crew came out a few days later executing a flawless and professional job.Not only impressed with the high skill level,also with the high safety awareness to themselves and property.
The crew members were respectful and made you, as a homeowner feel confident knowing you made the right choice. The wood we chose to keep was cut into small logs and stacked in neat piles.They left the property clean and in order.Thank you Steve and entire crew for taking such good care of us.

Marta has an amazing fund of knowledge and can speak to needed criteria for ANY plant, shrub, or tree. She knows where to place plants so any blooming times are scattered to give color through the seasons. She also takes into account placement as to how they grow.
Marta suggested opening more of the area bordering our woods which added a sweep to the approach of the property.
Matt and his team from MJay were fantastic , removing the old and preparing and planting the new. They were efficient and worked hard. Marta was right there to guide them as needed

“One of our church properties is an old, small, chapel in Southbury which is surrounded by many trees. We needed a few trees removed and a few tree sized branches removed. The site has very limited access and power lines next to the main access and two of the trees that needed to come down. The entire process with Bart's tree service was very professional. The quote included photos and coloration on the branches to be removed so there was 100% clarity on what work was to be done. The crew arrived on the appointed day and worked like a masterful air-tree-ballet. Each large limb or trunk was lowed via a pulley system and rope; the large logs were put in a truck and everything else was chipped onsite instantly and the chips were in a truck. The large limbs that could have crushed the chapel roof were lowered with precision and care. There were 5 guys in the crew and they each knew their job and worked great as a team. Originally I had considered doing the job with one other person from our church. Upon watching them, I realized that even if I had rented a bucket truck, it would have taken me a week to do what they did in 4 hours and I would have never figured out how to lower the thousands of pound of limbs that they lowered without damage to the chapel or surrounding ground. Thank God they did this work! The final bill was a little lower than the quote reflecting a last minute change I made and the site was left 100% clean as if no one had been there. If I was a younger guy, I'd like to work with a crew like this. Very impressive and very professional. Thank you for such good work!“
