We were seeking help choosing wallpaper and paint for a "ladies parlor" in our 1870s home. Stephen Ruddy at Ring's End Fairfield helped us select from a wide array of appropriate wallcoverings. We ultimately decided on a Morris wallpaper. He helped us choose a complementary paint for the trim, he recommended we try a board and batten style of wainscoting, and he recommended a terrific wallpaper installer for our project. We are delighted with the outcome!

Carol is AMAZING. My mother has adhd so getting her to complete a task is borderline impossible. Carol did a wonderful job keeping my mom on task finding paint colors while also being incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. If we didn’t live out of state I would go there over and over and over again.

Not a fan. It's designed I think for contractors. It's not really a store you have to go to the counter and order things. I don't know what they don't turn it into a full fledged hardware store as they'd have little competition. Update: Thanks for the response. I have been to your other locations and they've been great. I think the High Ridge location just feels uncomfortable for a regular consumer. We're used to self serve and that's not really the model. That said, I thought a little more an everyone is helpful although not necessarily friendly so I increased a star.
