I had a great experience. The staff had to make an accommodation for my husband and they had to speak with a few providers to get the correct information. The MRI staff was extremely helpful and I was able to get an appointment quickly. Thank you!!
I saw three different ONS doctors for three different conditions over the period of three months and my experiences were not good. I don't care to write extensively here about these, but I will certainly not be a return patient. I followed up my care post-ONS with visits to the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in Stamford, where I received excellent care which, in some cases, contradicted the recommendations of ONS. I suggest that all those needing orthopedic care in this area go to HSS (yes, it's often hard to get an appointment) and avoid ONS (where you can often get in on the same day). Caveat emptor.
I now can confidently write this review. I definitely did not want to ; but maybe by writing this other patients can get proper care. I started going to ONS after an accident in the summer of 2022 which resulted in a long string of injuries ; it wasn't until I met with Dr. Sethi (who is wonderful) who diagnosed my injury properly. The doctors they have (who you see) before a surgeon ; have no idea what they are doing. And because of the misdiagnosis I spent the summer of 2022 rehabilitating an injury that I never had ; while remaining in pain I met with Dr. Sethi who diagnosed me properly and because of that I've been able to rehab my injury through another physical therapy department ; because their physical therapy is a huge waste of money and time. I had to call my insurance company to file a claim that I never received therapy which is true. I would show up and the staff would talk about their weekend and go get Panera bread in the staff room and talk about their greasy sandwiches. This is so unsettling. They also (certain doctors) wanted me to get spinal injections and other long string of injections which messed up my nervous system. Long story short I now have a whole team of doctors at Cornell and NYU who with doctor sethis help ; were able to help me start recovering. Don't waste your time with their low level staff. And don't depend on them to read your MRI results either mine were read wrong. Beyond
