The entire crew is kind, attentive, and extremely LGBTQ+ inclusive, with many staff members being LGBTQ+ themselves. They listen to questions, take time to explain, and ensure patients feel comfortable and in charge of their own treatment. Services include primary care, Gender & Life-Affirming Medicine like informed consent Hormone Replacement Therapy, HIV prevention and treatment, PrEP, behavioral health, psychiatric services, and more. They take most insurances and offer telehealth appointments, making comprehensive, affirming health care accessible and a dream come true for many.
Anchor Health provides excellent health care, but most importantly they make me feel safe and respected. It was so easy to become a new patient even though my previous doctor wouldn't release my records. I see Dr. Eckert for my HRT and am beyond happy with their care. They helped with me my name change and top surgery as well. Anchor Health's pharmacy is also excellent. I'd recommend AH to any queer or trans person!
I love coming out of a routine check up feeling better than I went in. The entire AHI crew is so kind and attentive. Dr. AJ is outstanding and listens to any questions and they really take their time to explain what's going on and any alternative options a patient may have. As a fat trans person, AHI is the first doctor's office where I've felt they saw me as a whole person and wanted me to be comfortable and in charge of my own treatment.
