What an incredible community. The residents are kind, sincere, welcoming, friendly and just overall lovely!! As the Director of Dining Services, I couldn't have dreamt of a better place to work. The staff is like one big family; all the way from the Executive Director, department heads, managers and hourly employees, to part time & per-diem. I feel very fortunate to be at Pomperaug Woods after 35 years in this business, and having worked a multitude of different venue types. The culture is amazing and the mood is always great. I would certainly choose Pomperaug Woods for my family members with the utmost confidence. 5 stars across the board!!!
Pomperaug woods has been my saving grace for mom’s care. Every staff member is caring and professional and they take great care of her. They also ensure to partner with me in her care which is so important. I sleep better at night since she moved in. I am so grateful to Pomperaug Woods for providing a safe and nurturing community.
