Dr. Manganiello is wonderful and extremely patient. I had a plugged oil gland on my lower eyelid that was bothering me (I had no idea what it was) and a friend recommended Dr. Manganiello at CT Eye Physicians & Surgeons. He explained (in simple terms) what was going on. I'll spare going into details of how he removed what looked like a teensy tiny whitehead in my eyelid, but it took a long time. Every step of the way, he'd check to make sure I wasn't experiencing pain. He gave me thorough care instructions. It's now a few weeks after this procedure, and I'm doing great. I highly recommend Dr. Manganiello and his excellent staff.

I called for an appointment and they got me in the next day! Everyone in the office was super friendly and helpful. The doctor explained everything and made sure I was comfortable with everything he did. I learned a lot! I would 100% recommend them.

Dr. Manganiello has practiced ophthalmology in South Windsor since 1996. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York and completed an internship at New York University Medical Center. He completed two residencies, one in ophthalmology at the State University of New York and the other in internal medicine at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Manganiello is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the medical staff of Eastern Connecticut Health Network and performs surgery at Rockville General Hospital. As an eye physician and surgeon, he specializes in regular wellness eye exams as well as the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions affecting the eye.
