My son recently started classes at Legacy Martial Arts and is really enjoying it. The instructors are fun, professional and keep his attention. I appreciate the convenient scheduling options, with an option for his age group almost every day.
We found Sensei Wolff in the spring of our son’s Kindergarten year, at a demonstration class during the school’s sports week. At that time, martial arts was not on our radar. We were all about soccer. But two and a half years later and we continue to feel so incredibly blessed to have met Sensei Wolff and his team of dedicated, compassionate senseis. These men and women work tirelessly at each class to teach these kids how to be strong- not just of body, but of mind, too. Our son has learned self-discipline, determination, and commitment from these remarkable instructors. These traits are then carried into other areas of his life now: school, home, and yes, also soccer. In everything he tackles he works hard, refuses to quit, leaves nothing on the table, and shines w self-confidence. Now a third grader, he is super close to becoming a junior black belt; a huge milestone in this journey, to be sure. And while we are fiercely proud of the effort he has put in to get here, we are most awed by his desire to give something back and help out the younger classes of kids that are just starting their own journey in martial arts, including his little brother. This is what Sensei Wolff has built at Legacy: a dojo that has quickly become an extension of our home; a welcoming place of shared goals and earned respect that we didn’t know we needed in our lives. He has cultivated a remarkable group of senseis who willingly step above and beyond the title of Instructor to take on the more meaningful mantle of Role Model to these kids. To put it simply: This is not just a place to learn karate (though, you won’t find a better spot to make that happen)- Legacy is a place to learn how to become the best version of yourself.
