Sensei Deegan is an incredible teacher and mentor. In addition to teaching our kids self-defense and fitness, he instills confidence, discipline, and character development in his students. He could teach us all how to be better parents! It is a pleasure to watch his classes. My kids love him too. Highly recommend.

The sensei is very kind and talented. sensei Deegan has great skill communicating with the kids and im proud to have my son as part of the Kempo academy. This Academy structure will certainly provide my son with important lessons in life that he will learn very early on here.

Our son loves karate with Sensei Deegan, and really seems to benefit from the instruction and the environment. Sensei Deegan has a really great way with the kids, balancing holding them accountable with gentle instruction and redirection.

The mission at Kempo Academy of Cross River is to guide and help students progress. We teach the martial arts, but what students can expect to learn goes far beyond that. Whether the aim is developing self control, strength, focus, or balance, all are emphasized to a diverse group. In a fun environment, students are motivated to work hard and accomplish their goals. Trying one class could lead to a life changing experience for a young martial artist.
