Backus Plainfield Emergency Care Center

I'd been having issues for 1 or 2 years. I'd gone to a different hospital er and they said I had lyme disease. Symptoms persisted, went back 2 more times than week. Nothing else found, I gave up. A year or two later I was having difficulty sleeping, felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I had my son drive me to Backus Plainfield ER. As soon as I was brought in the er and explained my symptoms, they sent me to x-ray. Diagnosis fluid around the heart, I was having a heart failure. I was rushed to Backus Hospital Norwich where I spent a week recovering. Backus er recognized my symptoms correctly, saving my life. The other seriously dropped the ball.

I was senr to the ED by my primary care for experiencing severe neurological symptoms and a debilitating migraine, and I specifically asked to have a CT scan because I was concerned about what was happening. I'm surprised that you release without treating or referring a patient with high blood pressure and difficulty breathing. No appreciate testing done unless you think a chest x-ray covers all bases. Disappointed.
