I started seeing Dr King when I moved back to CT from Vermont, 10+ years ago. He and is office staff are fantastic! A few years ago I stopped in without an appointment and he immediately saw me, dx.a retinal detachment. He made 2 immediate phone calls and I was referred to a specialist immediately. The specialist also took me immediately and resolved it. I would highly recommend him without any reservation.
Dr King is the best. The exam is thorough and comprehensive. Dr. King himself is also very patient-centered and kind, he takes time to work with you as an individual rather than just another patient number. Highly recommend!
I had an eye exam today with Matthew King at King Family Eye Care in Old Saybrook, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Matthew is incredibly thorough and thoughtful, taking the time to ask detailed questions and really understand my needs before determining my prescription. I appreciated how much care and attention he put into the process. It’s refreshing to have a doctor who genuinely takes the time to listen and make sure you’re getting the best possible care. Highly recommend King Family Eye Care!
