They did everything they promised. A few days before the sale of my house in Cheshire, CT they came and calculated the estimated amount of heating oil in the oil tank so that I could get a credit from the buyers. They were helpful, polite and prompt.
We have been customers of Petro since they assumed Krall Oil Co. Customers with Krall oil & coal since 1948. Excellent customer service reps. Friendly delivery people and knowledgable technicians. However, I just learned within the last few days that if you pay in full within 15 days you also need to call them to tell that you did so!!! I had a credit balance for referring a new customer and called to check on it and found out it had dwindled down by $40. The rep I spoke with was very nice and corrected my account by looking at delivery dates and pay dates. However there is nothing in their disclosures that indicates you need to notify them that you have paid in full. It may have something to do with the fact I use bill pay and do not return their bill stub. Just an FYI
Highly recommend. Just switched from Amerigas who let us run out twice while on automatic delivery. Petro/Tankfarm has an app to make sure we never run out. Very professional and kept me informed of everything while I made the switch. So happy I did and it was quick.
