“My parents were suffering from early signs of dementia so it was becoming more and more obvious that we needed to get some kind of help so that they could continue to live at home. They were still capable of taking care of themselves but needed some help for safety reasons. The home care aide that Compassionate Care at Home assigned to our parents was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend at the very least giving them a call if you are in need of some home care assistance.“

“I stopped by here to pay my final respects to my ex's father. Based on what I heard from the family, the doctors and nurses took excellent care of him during his final days. He spent the last week of his life here and was treated with dignity, care, and respect. I noticed that the hospital staff (or volunteers) had crochet butterflies with a short prayer attached to them. The butterflies were placed on his pillow and chest. He looked peaceful. The receptionist at the front desk was sweet and pleasant. She took a photo of all visitors for the temporary badge. The hospice is located in a very peaceful setting, overlooking Long Island Sound. This was actually America's first hospice. The interior was a bit outdated, but the outside view was beautiful and serene. Rest In Peace, David Kniess.“
