J. Marie Photography, led by Jessica, is a Senior Portrait and wedding photographer based in Niantic, Connecticut. She offers beautiful images with a traditional, photojournalistic style and provides several packages focusing on what is most important to her clients. The photographer is wonderful to work with and a pleasure to have at sessions. She goes above and beyond in everything she does, truly listening to ideas and wishes to make them come to life. For portraits with families and little kids, she is patient, does not rush the process, and maintains a clean, warm studio. With couples, she helps pose and give cues to make people feel comfortable and natural, capturing perfect moments where love radiates through the pictures. She has an artistic eye, taking into account the entire environment to create timeless and gorgeous photos. She is also a fantastic and calming presence, especially on stressful occasions like weddings, where she comforts clients and ensures everything is perfect. Her wedding packages come with many great perks. Clients continuously recommend her to everyone in need of a photographer and plan to book her for future sessions.
Jessica did both my son's newborn shoots, my first in 2023 and this year in 2024. she was wonderful with them both, didn't rush the process, let me nurse them if needed between shots. her studio was clean, warm, and even had a changing table. the photos came out beautiful as well. definitely going to book her for future development stages as well!!
We recently did family photos with our two little kids. She is a pleasure to work with!! And her photos are gorgeous!!! Highly recommend using her for your photos!!
Jessica was the perfect photographer for our family! She went above and beyond to make sure we loved every shot she took. We booked a newborn secession which included siblings and parents. She was so patient with our gassy girl and active toddler and took her time to make sure everyone was comfortable, but our stubborn newborn was not having it. After we received our gallery we were honest with her about our disappointment. Our newborn just had a mad face in 90% of them, which had nothing to do with her ability. She was so sweet about everything, saying she just wanted to make sure we loved our photos, and had us come back in for a redo at no charge. We can’t express enough how grateful we are! We have so many beautiful shots that we will cherish forever.
