We spent many hours in the showroom looking over samples. She was extremely knowledgeable about her products and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Everything was in stock and quickly available. The installers did a fantastic job. We carpeted 3 bedrooms and a hallway and everything looks beautiful. I highly recommend Northeast for all of your flooring needs.

The staff was very helpful when picking out carpet, worked with our timeline and the install was seamless and professional. I just want to take a minute to recognize Joe, Elisa from his office staff, and the crews that worked on our carpet for the positive experience that we had working with Northeast Carpet and Flooring in New Milford. Their professionalism, patience, attention to detail and carpet installation expertise, helped to make the experience pleasurable and easy and we couldn't be more pleased with the carpet and how it looked when it was installed. Joe and his team did an amazing job on our hardwood flooring install and repair from start to finish. Communication was clear and responsive, pricing was fair and transparent, scheduling was easy, and the final results are stunning.
They went above and beyond — replacing a few boards that wouldn’t sand and refinish seamlessly with the new installation, and even repaired some tricky areas of our downstairs flooring so everything now looks cohesive and brand new. Their attention to detail and pride in their work truly stand out.
If you’re looking for a team that’s skilled, honest, and cares about the end result, I can’t recommend Joe and his crew enough. Our floors look incredible, and the whole process was stress-free.

I'm not sure where to begin, so I'll start with the basics- almost $10k to install about 600 sq. ft. of vinyl plank and a sound barrier. $1,200 just to "install" the sound barrier, which was really just a roll of rubber- no adhesive or anything special.No guidance or advice when picking out the flooring- I visited the shop a few times and was left to my own devices. I picked out what I thought would be suitable for my space and then said "unless you have a better recommendation" which was met with silence.Wanted to use a local install company and had to advocate for NEFF with my property management company because their license was expired at the time. Joe said "it's just a fee for the state", as if it were no big deal, but it is a big deal- a license protects the customer.Was told Joe (the owner) was a perfectionist, which is great! But he didn't do any of the work or even stop by the site during the work.Told me it would be a two-day job, and I coordinated with my plumber to remove and replace the hot water tank. Went without hot water at my place for over 24 hours because the job took about 6 hours, not two days.After install, I found FOUR razor blades, two on window sills, two stacked on a baseboard heater- I have pets and I honestly don't know what I would have done if I had kids running around instead. And I found what I'm guessing is a carpeting staple. Just unacceptable carelessness.I also found chips in several boards. They came back to "repair" them and just filled them with something and then used a marker to recolor the filling. While the guys were there, Paolo mentioned the chips happened because the boards were cold when they were installed. So, they knew what would happen, yet did nothing to prevent it, like maybe not storing the boards in a van all night.That's not even all of it, and I probably should have written this review much sooner. Bottom line- after my experience, I recommend hiring someone else.

Not responsive and they write 1-word replies if you push. They don't reply to you and then they don't honour their advertised "sale price" saying it is too late. They also qouted me a price that did not make sense (it was incomplete) due to their lack of communication. When I went in person, the owner was very rude so I left the store. The "good" reviews are from family/friends. They wasted my time greatly and on top of that they were rude.
