Jim Clang of A2Z Home Maintenance Services gave me a quote for work and I gave him a check for the materials. Then when I tried to schedule, he gave me an endless list of delays, broken promises and excuses. Three months later, I cancelled the work and asked for a refund. Another month of promising to send the check with endless excuses for why he didn't make it. He deserves a rating of 0. And apparently his name is not on the tax record for the the Gales Ferry address he lists on his quotes. Don't even know if that's real. Highly recommend not doing business with this person.
We contracted James Clang at A2Z Home Maintenance Services to rebuild our deck over1 year ago. After numerous attempts to schedule the job, James Clang has broken his agreement with us per his own contract and scheduled dates. There are various excuses that James Clang has given us for not being able to complete the work (he has no employees, he hurt his back, he was sick, his truck broke down, he has no money, it was rainy, too cold or too hot outside, needs new tools, busy working on other projects, etc) When we first spoke to James Clang, we noted that we would sell the condo within the next year or two. After posting reviews of A2Z, James Clang contacted me and made verbal threats to me to remove my reviews of his company. He refuses to refund the money which we now consider stolen. Read less
