I cannot recommend this place strongly enough. Their expertise, experience, knowledge - their immersion - in the world of these rugs is insanely deep. Also, they were a pleasure to work with. Before I bought my rugs we had amazing conversations about, basically, what made these pieces beautiful: the history the quality and the characteristics of the weavers of each region. My husband and I have been shopping at Kebabian’s for over 20 years and are always impressed with not only the superior quality and selection of rugs, but also the excellent customer service. The staff is professional, friendly and courteous with a desire to please. We have also had our rugs repaired and cleaned there, and, again, the service and workmanship is top-notch. It is wonderful to have this gem of a store nearby as it is such a rare find today. We recommend Kebabian’s for any and all of the above-mentioned services and are sure you will return there again and again as we have.

This family store is one of the jewels of New Haven. We have enjoyed shopping here for more than forty years and their rugs are in the homes of three generations of our own family. Don't bother shopping for rugs in Turkey, just come to Kebabian's for the best quality, information, and fair dealing.
