Leaving a 1 star review because there is no option for 0 stars. My wife and I went to his office in early February to have our taxes filed. John took all our information and informed us he needed a few weeks to get them done and filed. Great.

Then the constantly chasing down began. Weeks passed and then months. Finally a week before the tax deadline in April, John called me and informed me he was filing an extension for us. I went to to John cannon to file my taxes March 16, 2026 he told me okay 2 weeks it’s now April 12, 2026 I’ve been waiting almost a month for my tax return. He never answers any phone calls I’ve called and left a voicemail 3-4 times already. I paid him on good Friday mind you he charged me $325 very overpriced and he told me okay 2 weeks. So why lie and tell me the first time 2 weeks if you didn’t file it when I made my appointment. I’ve been checking everyday and still nothing. Brought our tax documents to him in February and had to keep coming back to follow up to see if he filed. Turns out he lied and said it was done. He didn't file until September and didn't inform us so we got hit with a huge late fee from the IRS. On top of that he refuses to give a copy of the filed forms
