I hate giving a one-star review, but I must express my disappointment with the service I received. I contacted the company for a roof inspection due to a leak near the skylight last week. Jon, the estimator, was fantastic and assured me that everything would be promptly repaired. However, it's disheartening that we never received any follow-up from the company. Unfortunately, the rain has returned to Wilton, and now we have to schedule appointments with other companies for next week. If you're already swamped with other projects, please consider not taking on new jobs.

We used this company to replace our roof in 2017 which was nearing it's end of life. We had no issues with our existing roof but didn't want to wait until there were leaking issues before replacing. Within a few weeks of using Prizio to replace the roof, we had a leak come through a light fixture on the main floor. We called and the owner responded pretty quickly. He said he checked everything and that it was just a perfect storm of rain/wind that caused the leak. Turns out we have had several "perfect" storms since. We reached out to another roofing company and when he went up to take a look he took photos of a rather large area of caulking which is where leak was coming in. That area of the roof also seems to be soft now due to leaks and the facia board rotting where it meets the roof. Very disappointed that the job wasn't done correctly 4 yrs ago and now we have to deal with a problem that didn't exist before replacing the roof!Service: Roof installation

These guys sales team are all over the place. From scheduling to production - the process was a nightmare. Our roof was promised to be replaced in 1 day, it took 3. Once they were finished with the job, I asked them to fix a piece of the gutter that was clearly damaged by a ladder, the installer told me that it wasn’t their problem. Our roof was installed about 6 months ago and we still have an active leak in our attic. Anyone looking for a roof replacement in Lower Fairfield County should stay away from these guys.Service: Roof installation

My experience was flawless start to finish. They were on time, fair price, owner John Prizio was detail oriented/checks-in, friendly workers that braved the cold and wind to make our roof happen...I highly recommend Prizio for gutters and roofing. Also awesome to support a local family business, they're good people!

Very pleased with Prizio Roofing and Siding's work. They just removed and replaced our old roof. The owner came over, looked the roof over himself, answered all my questions, and even offered to patch a leaky spot for me until he could get his crew over to do the bigger job. They're a "mom and pop"/family-run business that's been around for 50-60 years. The only legitimate "negative" that I read or heard about them while doing my research was that it might take a couple of calls to get an appointment with them (which it did). I just interpreted that as them being busy, and my persistence and patience paid off. When you call, ask for Heather (she runs the office).

AFTER TALKING TO JONATHAN PRIZIO FOR TEN MINUTES, I KNEW HE WOULD BE THE MAN TO REPLACE OUR ROOF. HE IMBUED ME WITH CONFIDENCE. HE WAS KNOWLEDGABLE AND CLEARLY OUTLINED THE PROCESS; EXPLAINED WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN AN ESTIMATE AND ENCOURAGED ME TO CHECK THOROUGHLY ANY PROSPECTIVE FIRM’S CREDENTIALS AND INSURANCE STATUS.
HIS QUOTATION ARRIVED PROMPTLY AND, ALTHOUGH NOT THE CHEAPEST, WAS REASONABLE. WE ACCEPTED IT.
WORK STARTED PROMPTLY. HIS PERSONABLE, EFFICIENT TEAM ARRIVED AT 7AM EACH MORNING, STRIPPED THE ROOF AND CARTED OFF THE DEBRIS USING A LARGE TYRED VEHICLE DESIGNED TO AVOID RIPPING UP THE LAWN; ALL SHRUBS NEAR THE WORK WERE COVERED WITH PROTECTIVE CLOTHS. THE SITE WAS LEFT TIDY EVERY EVENING.
JONATHAN REGULARLY APPEARED ON SITE TO CHECK THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOING SMOOTHLY.
THE NEW ROOF WAS COMPLETED IN A TIMELY FASHION AND LOOKS GREAT! WE ARE DELIGHTED AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND JONATHAN PRIZIO.

Had my roof done by the father almost 20 years ago and was satisfied so I called recently. Father is deceased and the son, Jonathan, took over. I called and got numerous appointments where no one showed. Answering service finally got Jon to call and he said he'd stop by and leave the estimate in my mailbox. Several days passed with no estimate so I called and when he returned the call several days later he said he was writing up the estimate and would email it to me. Another several days passed. Meanwhile I was getting estimates from several RELIABLE company's. I called again and the service said they'd get to him in the field. A day later his supposed wife called and reassured me the estimate was coming. I still have not heard nor do I care, any longer. I have a roofer who responds, is concerned about potential customers and comes highly recommended. The son is obviously a poor excuse for a businessman. I wouldn't hire them if they were the last roofer in existence. FORWARNED IS FOREARMED!!!!
