Jim is a master musician and teacher. He customized techniques for my large hands to play guitar to my strengths. He has away of integrating music theory and make it a practical part of the learning process. I consider Jim to be my teacher but also my friend. he truly cares about his students.
Jim Clark has turned out to be THE BEST guitar teacher for me! I have been a musician and live performer for over 35 years. My main instrument is my voice but it has always been my dream to play the guitar. I've had a few other guitar teachers over the years and none of their teaching styles resonated with me. Jim eats, breathes and sleeps music. It's part of who he is. His teaching method is unique and efficient. He tailors his teaching to each individual's level. He's passionate about teaching you all he knows and wants you to get better and better! He's got me playing again at a level I was never able to get to before. He's also got me carving out the time to practice with my very busy schedule. I actually look forward to practicing! My son has been learning guitar with Jim since February of this year. In these 9 months, I’ve seen my 7 year old son slowly but accurately progress into the cutest little guitar player. He has grown to love music as much as his mama and it brings me great pride. Also, my daughter agreed to try the drums and after 2 lessons has become hooked and eager to keep learning music with Jim. Both my children are loving this deep connection that they’re feeling with music and it brings me great joy and excitement 🤩
