Middlesex Health Urgent Care - Middletown

I do not live in the area and was only there to drop my kid off at college. Needed to be seen and prescribed steroids for allergic reaction to mosquito bites. Glad to have spotted this place from the road and decided to give it a try. Everyone was very kind and helpful, from the receptionist to the assistant who did my intake to the APRN. I waited no more than 10 minutes to be seen and was not left waiting more than a few minutes in the exam room. Prescriptions were sent over to the pharmacy promptly so that I could pick them up right away and get much-needed relief from severe itching and swelling. It is so good to know that there is a good urgent care clinic for my son to have as backup, since the university health center is pretty bare bones.

I had the best experience with Melissa, the PA. I had dismissed some sick symptoms as seasonal allergies, but started to run a fever. I rarely get sick, so I was nervous about going in to UC for minor symptoms like cough and sore throat. Melissa made me feel comfortable by acknowledging my symptoms and helping me understand the diagnosis and what to do to feel better. Plus I was out of there in under an hour! Great experience.

Took my child in for a bad case of poison ivy. We were seen quickly with almost no wait, and were able to get the medication they needed to start feeling better right away. Everyone was caring and compassionate.
