Having a UTI called they said they only had appointments for the next day. Come today they call and cancel my appointment and refuse to even send me a prescription so I won’t have to sit in pain another day. If you’ve ever sat with a UTI long enough you’d understand!

Met with Dr. Organ and she’s the sweetest lady ever. She’s very kind and an active listener. Unlike a lot of doctors, she put effort into understanding my problems and took initiative into finding me a solution. The nurses there are also very lovely and friendly.

I have been visiting this office for several years, and the staff consistently demonstrate kindness and a willingness to assist. The doctors are highly knowledgeable and genuinely care about their patients' well-being. However, it is worth noting that many of the physicians here are residents, as the office is part of the Middlesex Health Residency Program. If you don’t mind the possibility of having a new primary care provider every few years, this office could be an excellent fit for you.

I've been getting care here for years and have been very happy, everyone is very caring and straight forward and the follow-up is great.

Reception staff is generally friendly, and phone hold time really varies. A lot of people call when they're on lunch or right after work, but if you call at an "off-peak" time, you often get an answer within 10 minutes or sometimes immediately. I always get same or next day appointments when I have urgent concerns.

I first started coming here in 2018, when I saw Dr. Stephanie Rosener. She was very nice and competent but has since left the practice.
In 2020 I took on Dr. Shaunna Escobar, who was AMAZING. I was hit by a drunk driver in 2022 and was in various medical institutions for 9 months, during which Dr. Escobar diligently put every update she got from my inpatient doctors into the Middlesex system. She left the practice a couple months after I got home in 2023, and I literally sobbed. She was SO smart, SO personable, and she really truly made me feel like I mattered and that she personally cared about my health. She also was fantastic regarding quickly responding to MyChart messages! New York DPH is incredibly lucky to have her.
Dr. Escobar passed me on to Dr. Corinne Rivard. She is nice but didn't seem super sure of herself, and communication was really difficult. It makes sense since she's a resident and she doesn't work in the practice full-time, but I had to wait forever for MyChart messages to be answered, and I felt like I never saw her since her availability was practically nonexistent. In general, I now choose to avoid having a resident for anything but acute care visits.
I have seen Stacey Durr, APRN, several times for acute care visits and she has always been great. Personable, knowledgeable, confident in what she says/does.

Once I got fed up with the poor communication and lack of availability of Dr. Rivard (although this applies to all residents and not her personally), I decided to switch to a staff physician. I started tapering off OxyContin at this time and had a consultation regarding that with Dr. Christina Shenko, who then became my PCP and is to this day. Dr. Shenko is much like Dr. Escobar! Super friendly, knowledgeable, confident in her treatment suggestions/care decisions, very responsive on MyChart. She is also very receptive to hearing any ideas that I have for new pain management tools! I see her every 1-2 months and I really feel like we are equal partners when it comes to managing my complex care needs. I plan to stay with her for the foreseeable future, even after I move within the next year!

The doctors and nurses are super nice! The level of care is great! However, horrible communication. Don't bother trying to call and speak to a receptionist. You'll be waiting for at least 30 minutes or more. No one ever answers the phone in a timely manner. If you're really sick, and need to be seen same day or the next, you could try to leave a message with your doctor on Mychart for an appointment but they are busy and don't always get to the messages so, you're better off going to urgent care for treatment instead of waiting around.

My doctor was Dr Ozbeck during my pregnancy and I am so happy I found her. She was very kind and informative, she took her time with each visit, she also was personable and I didn't feel like an assembly line patient. When I gave birth she was not in call but was update and involved in my birth. I am so grateful for her and the family medicine team!

Doctors are ok but when you have labs, mri,s, or any other testing that you are waiting for the dr to email or call you with an explanation of the finding, the service is terrible. I’ve had to call and email for several days practically begging for someone to get back to me. Thus has happened several times.
