I had a great experience learning from Shield Driving School, and Jay is just the best. They helped me with scheduling the classes, picked me up and dropped me off from my apartment in their car, scheduled the road test, took me to the test in the same car and made sure I knew everything I should expect. I definitely recommend this school to anyone trying to learn driving and get a license.

This is a really great school. I could understand everything I was told (because English is my second language), the theory lessons were entertaining and I could learn a lot from them. Behind the wheel the instructors are calm (I had an opportunity to have lessons with all of them) and helpful. They explain what to do really well, don't yell when things go wrong, and overall it's very fun to spend the time with them, especially with Jay due to his personality (Ben and Dennis are also a very nice bunch of guys) I recommend this school, especially if you're from Meriden or you live nearby. Jay is amazing down to earth I’m so glad I was able to find a driving school that works with my schedule and is willing to help to help teach and get you to pass I couldn’t have done it without him ! He is a blessing .. coming from Newyork to the suburbs in Connecticut not knowing how to drive and passing my road test on my first try made me feel so good anyone can do it ! I’m so thankful
