I have a daughter who is Autistic, and Kara was not only welcoming and friendly but also patient and kind. Not only did she have such a calm demeanor, but she also explained everything she was doing and made sure my daughter was okay with it. My daughter loved being able to pick out what scent of shampoo she used, and even when my daughter changed her mind, Kara was very patient. I highly recommend this place. It was clean, beautifully decorated, welcoming for children, and Kara was amazing. We will definitely be going back.
Took my youngest daughter for her first haircut (she is turning 3 in two days) I should have picked an earlier time in the day when my daughter wouldn’t be tired but I didn’t which is my fault, but the stylist we had was so sweet and extremely patient with my toddler who acted like she had ants in her pants and refused to sit still for even a second. Even with her not sitting still her hair came out amazing. I would definitely recommend!
I’ve been taking my son Dean to Sharkey’s since he was around 8 months old- he turns a year next week and has had 3 haircuts here so far and every time Emily does an awesome job! She’s very sweet and patient with him and he always looks so cute when we leave. Highly recommend bringing your kiddos here!
