“I hired Reichelt Construction Contracting in September 2024 to remove a load-bearing wall between my kitchen and dining room. My husband and I do most home improvement work ourselves, and have had bad experiences in the past with contractors which makes us a little wary when trusting someone else with our home, but I'm happy to say that Zach and his team were incredibly pleasant to work with and did efficient, high-quality work!

A different contractor I got a quote from before contacting RCC told me they wouldn't need to take a permit out, which I knew wasn't true and raised a red flag. Zach assured me he would follow the correct process by taking out a building permit and making sure the beam was perfectly calculated by an engineer to support the weight of the second floor. I knew I was in good hands, secure in the knowledge that all procedures and safety measures were followed.

Steve and Justin did great work the day of the job. I was impressed by how quickly they completed the whole project (less than a day!) while never raising any concerns about safety or quality. They built temporary walls to support the second floor before removing the studs of the load-bearing wall and then lifted the heavy load-bearing beam into place. All of their measurements were precise, and they made sure to clean up thoroughly when they were done.

Zach checked in several times throughout the day and then maintained excellent communication after the beam was in place, working with me to resolve a couple minor issues raised by the town inspector. He went above and beyond to quickly address any small concerns I had and made sure my husband and I were 100% satisfied with the job.

“AJN Contracting is terrific. Tim and crew expedited repairs on my rental property when a pipe leak destroyed dry wall in the basement. I reside in Colorado and the property is in Storrs, CT. Tim stayed in touch with me each and every step of the way. He also identified a preventative technique to keep the plumbing (copper pipes) from developing leaks in the first place. “Simply incredible. From start to finish, from the office manager to the installers, they are top notch. The level of coordination from Joel and Rob is more than I would ever expect. The care and detail that Mike, John, and Chris put into the house was as if it was their own.

We had ~70k worth of work done on the house - about 10 windows, a new door system, new columns and of course siding. The crew has been working together for a while and it shows - they were clean, efficient, and above all else skilled.

However, the service didn't stop there. Once the contract was paid in full they still provided support when there were some small issues with the gutters. Even now, almost 9 months later they have a crew out to fix a little issue. If you go with Steve Czerwinski you wont be disappointed.

I should add that I work with contractors regularly - I am an engineer with very high (I'm sure annoying) standards and desire for detail. They blew me away - and continue to do so still - with their care and level of effort.“

“Joe put up crown molding in several rooms and hallways, replaced two interior doors and removed a door and redid the surround. He was on budget, did very fine work and recommended a painter to finish the work. We are very pleased and would recommend him for any remodeling work“

“JRB home improvements save the day for me and my husband. Our home had been flooded severely in our basement rec room and laundry area. He worked tirelessly and helped coordinate our insurance coverage for the rebuild. Him and Brian made sure that everything was restored actually better than before. There were flood cuts over the entire basement area two and a half feet up the drywall and you can't tell there was ever a cut in any of the walls. He made a couple of recommendations that help to actually improve the space and made the most out of the insurance dollars that were available to us and worked within our budget. “Nice ppl at the scale house but there process gravel sucks if your trying to get good compaction because they don't crush there materials, they only screen it so theres mostly round stones...(crushed stone locks in much tighter)“

“Maus has been WONDERFUL for all our plumbing. While taking care of my grandma's property (sept 2020), the water heater went out. Called a couple other local companies but no one was as accommodating as Maus. they Did an amazing job, and I found out later they were my grandmas number one pick for plumbing! Should have asked her to begin with, hah!“
