Went for an IUD insertion and removal. In my initial request I had request pain meds, as 5 years ago I had experienced a lot of pain. Nothing was offered. I however didn't bring it up so that is on me. But 'cough' to help it be Yanked out, and a "slight pinch" is not helpful to describe the pain I went through.
I work in Vet Med and we are much more compassionate to our patients than human medicine. Sad to see.
The IUD is the only method for me as other meds raises my BP. Just saying but if this was for a male, he would be sedated or at least have some sort of pain meds on board. ??♀️
I ADORE Mansfield OBGYN! I had my daughter with them and had the absolute best experience with all the providers. I love that they deliver at Manchester Memorial. Im in 3rd trimester with my 2nd child and I moved back to Mansfield OBGYN after a bleh experience with a Glastonbury obgyn. Dr Gildersleeve is the best! He is attentive, listens and has alot of knowledge and experience. The providers care about your needs and dont spend the visit with their face buried in a laptop. They give you face time & genuine compassion. Nurses are always fantastic!! Cant recommend this practice enough.
I just saw Yvette Martas for my new patient appointment this week, and had a wonderful experience. She is so patient and kind; she did a wonderful job of answering all of my questions. I am very grateful for her! This was a much better experience than my last physician! I absolutely recommend her and this facility!
