I had a mold issue in my Madison, CT basement. I called Healthy Homes and got through to the owner Joe. He was very professional and responsive. The home evaluation was quick and thorough. I was impressed with his knowledge base. Joe was back to treat the mold issue the following week with his team. I would definitely use Healthy Homes again. I recommend them to anyone in the shoreline area.
If you are having any kind of mold issues, just contact Healthy Homes and do not spend any time looking elsewhere. We had water leaking into our lower level creating mold in the flooring, on the walls and many other places. Joe explained what needed to be done and why it was important to get the work completed.
In addition, while examining our leakage issues, he pointed out some problems that the basement flooring company had not noticed. It was a significant help to us for getting their portion of the work repaired correctly.
Give Joe a call - you will not be disappointed.
We purchased a home built in 1951 that was in very bad shape due to neglect so we had to completely gut it down to the studs. We noticed extensive mold during the renovation and hired Healthy Home to treat the entire basement ceiling joist and the foundation walls. They also installed a heavy gauge vapor barrier over the dirt floor of an adjacent crawl space. Not an easy job! The wooden floor joists look brand new and have stayed mold free for 4 years —Thank you Joseph
