“I hired Reichelt Construction Contracting in September 2024 to remove a load-bearing wall between my kitchen and dining room. My husband and I do most home improvement work ourselves, and have had bad experiences in the past with contractors which makes us a little wary when trusting someone else with our home, but I'm happy to say that Zach and his team were incredibly pleasant to work with and did efficient, high-quality work!

A different contractor I got a quote from before contacting RCC told me they wouldn't need to take a permit out, which I knew wasn't true and raised a red flag. Zach assured me he would follow the correct process by taking out a building permit and making sure the beam was perfectly calculated by an engineer to support the weight of the second floor. I knew I was in good hands, secure in the knowledge that all procedures and safety measures were followed.

Steve and Justin did great work the day of the job. I was impressed by how quickly they completed the whole project (less than a day!) while never raising any concerns about safety or quality. They built temporary walls to support the second floor before removing the studs of the load-bearing wall and then lifted the heavy load-bearing beam into place. All of their measurements were precise, and they made sure to clean up thoroughly when they were done.

Zach checked in several times throughout the day and then maintained excellent communication after the beam was in place, working with me to resolve a couple minor issues raised by the town inspector. He went above and beyond to quickly address any small concerns I had and made sure my husband and I were 100% satisfied with the job.

“John contacted me about replacing my carpet and putting down new laminate. It was a very rush job because I was getting inspected at the end of the week by AKC. I never called him back but he kept on calling which I liked. He told me that they could do it in my time frame and sure enough they did. They also were able to do it within my budget. I am working on having both John and Justin do a bunch of projects for us. The floor makes the house so much better. They helped move some of the furniture out. They even moved my sick golden retriever into the car for me to bring her to the vet. They did such a great job and the house looks like new. Thank you John and Justin.
