I started my loc journey at Baswa back in January of 2022. Since then I’ve returned a few times and have had different stylists service my hair. I returned this afternoon and had an unsettling encounter with a stylist with whom I did not book an appointment, which left me feeling uncomfortable. My instinct was to leave without being serviced, but I decided to stay because turning around after a 45 minute drive would’ve upset me more. I originally had posted a review stating that I was unhappy with my hair style and felt that it didn’t suit the vision I came in with. However, almost as soon as I posted, the owner, Jasmyne, reached out to me to remedy my concerns. Not only was she incredibly quick, but she made time for me to come back in immediately and ensured I got the exact style I wanted at no extra cost. She even came in super early just to make sure that I could get my hair done in time for my weekend plans.
