Westmed Greenwich made only one attempt, one day before the appointment, to cancel my appointment. The appointment was made back in January and they waited one day before the appt to cancel. I could have gone elsewhere. The strange thing is they sent me two text messages asking for a confirmation, one a week ago and one yesterday.

WestMed physicians are excellent. The office operations are antiquated. Wait- times are 1-4 hours, and unless the patient sits in waiting room entire time - no leaving for any reason- patient will lose spot in line. WestMed furnishes only 1 physician at this location- best to visit before lunch.

This practice feels like a factory. You don't feel a personal experience at all with your doctor - it's hard to get in touch with your doctor/the office to get answers. I suffered a miscarriage this summer and was met with horrible bedside manner with one of the doctors in the rotation who majorly lacked empathy. With my second pregnancy, I have been shocked by the lack of response or help with a long time patient who is anxious post miscarriage. I am happy to be switching practices and have already gotten ample response/help and haven't even met the new practice in person yet.
