They like to let you starve when you're in the emergency. Don't listen to you when you try to talk to them. They think they know better than you. They treat you like they're better than you. It's honestly the worst f****** place to ever go. They might have the best medical technology, but the staff is horrible. They're rude and they don't treat you like human beings worst hospital ever

Very toxic and unsafe environment to work in! Sterile processing department is a disaster. Worse I've ever seen in my life. I rather die then get any type of care here!

As sick as I feel right now, i cant even bring myself to say what I want. this much I will report. I came to Uconn one night complaining of horrible abdominal pain. To keep this short. I had a ct scan, was never talked to about the results, loaded up with heavy pain killers, and told to leave when the pain killers wore off. Let me stress there was no suggestion as to how to deal with the pain, or what was causing it. when I pointed this out I was "told" there was nothing more they could do for me. what did you do? just writing this much will get me less then nothing status, when I touch base with the doctor that I'm supposed to talk to before the emergency room. oh, and fyi I did contact this person and was told to call my primary??? thanks guys?!?

They are milking my bfs insurance like crazy. He's been stuck here for a month. Went in for ascites. Instead of draining the water they are literally FILLING HIM WITH IVS FULL OF WATER. He is only supposed to have 1500 ml of water and it's written on the white board in his room. I went for a 2 hour long visit today and literally watched as his stomach extended from the water IV while on the board 1500 ml of water, do not exceed, was written in black sharpie. He has been here for a month. Making him sick, curing him, sick, cure, and the cycle is continuing. They aren't doing anything else. He is just sitting in the hospital, no other meds or IVs or procedures besides being filled with water and drained over and over again. This makes no sense.

I went in after not feeling well the there is no care like the UCONN team, they made sure every step of the way I was informed and on the track to feeling better. They even accompanied friends and family who came to visit.

Terrible experience. They are like a mafia and only consider the needs of their own team. Never work here.

shame! Such people should not work in medicine. Jewish children cannot be safe when such a Bailey Quinn doctor is working! Quinn took to social media to deny babies in Israel were headed by Hamas terrorists and instead, expressed her outrage that Gaza was without power.
Quinn also doesn't appear to be concerned for the American children kidnapped by Hamas. She does however, have one goal - maligning the world's only Jewish state with false claims of genocide.
Can Jewish babies and children ever be trusted in her care?

just wanted to recognize Dr Marilyn Katz at univ of Ct John Dempsey Hospital as a outstanding Dr. she has been my physician for 17 years and has taken excellent Care of Me. she is on top of her game. I. would also like to recognize Nurse Cassandra who works for Dr Katz . Cassandra has always returned my calls within 1 or 2 days and is very compassionate and through. I would not ever leave them . I am grateful that as I age and I have These two ladies looking after me . Fred Zohlman

Had to stay at UConn Farmington it would have been nice to receive some basic courtesy like having nurse's nurse's aids knock on the door before entering your room. Also why don't the nurse's use rubbing alcohol before and after using a needle? I was told there was no patient living room and there was one. For the exorbitant amount of money they charge a menu that is more palatable would help.
